The Next Step

I’ve already seen its contents, of course. I’ve put it all together. Decided which exercises I could reuse. What should go where. Picked a title. Deliberated with the project managers. Discussed with the graphic designer. Made puzzles and had them tested by my child. Picked out photos. Wrote new content. Went over the PDFs again and again for it to be the best it could be. But actually holding the final product in your hands always makes a difference. And here it is!


Proudly presenting The Next Step, an activity book for Dutch children who want to work on their English before going to secondary school. The recipe: a dollop of Stepping Stones, a pinch of Squla, and a smidgen of me. Designer Bas Dorbeck managed to combine all the visual ingredients into the icing that made the cake. Thank you Bas, and WRTS/Squla's Tijntje and Lisa for making the process so easy!
